Over the last two years, the Voices for Just Climate Action (VCA) Alliance has worked with underrepresented groups and local civil society organisations in Bolivia, Brazil, Indonesia, Kenya, Paraguay, Tunisia and Zambia to amplify their voices for just climate action. Rooted in its Theory of Change, VCA integrated mutual capacity strengthening, amplified voices, and relentless advocacy to align policies and finance with the needs of those most impacted by climate change, fostering locally-led responses and demonstrating resilience amid a rapidly shifting geopolitical landscape.

Financial inclusion: indigenous and local communities access bank services for the first time

In Paraguay, the difficult access to bank services has historically been a barrier for economic equity and well-being for many rural and indigenous communities. Through a partnership between WWF-Paraguay and the National Development Bank (BNF), banking services and financial education were offered to remote areas for the first time, promoting financial inclusion.
