Kenya NLGF Podcast series episode 1: Women, Disability and Climate Justice in Kajiado

December 2025: In this episode, we spotlight two grassroots women-led organisations in Kajiado County supported through the Voices for Just Climate Action Next Level Grant Facility. We speak with Ann Kiai of Mwanga wa Faraja CBO, whose work connects gender-based violence, harmful cultural practices, and climate action by empowering children and young girls. We are also joined by Rose Resiato from Rural Women Voices CBO, a collective of women with disabilities advancing inclusive livelihoods and climate resilience through kitchen gardening and online business training. Together, these conversations highlight why climate action must be inclusive, feminist, and rooted in lived realities.
