During RCOY 2024 in Lusaka, Alynn and Lucy from Kenya shared their perspectives on meaningful youth participation. Here's a summary of their thoughts: Alynn emphasised that true youth involvement goes beyond tokenism. She said, "Meaningful participation means being included in decision-making processes at every level, from the grassroots to international negotiations. We don’t just want to be in the room; we want our voices heard and our ideas implemented." Lucy added that empowering young people with the right tools and knowledge is key to enabling effective participation. She stated, "Young people need access to resources, platforms, and mentorship to contribute effectively to climate solutions. It’s about collaboration, not isolation." Both emphasised the importance of youth-driven solutions, highlighting that young voices are not only relevant but crucial to addressing the global climate crisis.

Nawaat Festival Aftermovie

The 4th edition of the Nawaat Festival, held from 27 to 29 September 2024, made it possible to celebrate the activist’s platform's 20 years of activism in the most beautiful way. A large and engaged audience enjoyed music concerts, artistic installations, theatrical reading, and other unusual cultural events. It was indeed a question of thinking outside the box to celebrate the richness of Tunisian alternative culture in all its forms.
