About the Game
The Tarot for Climate Action is an initiative by MuyWaso, developed as part of a project to create a Popular Glossary for Climate Action in Bolivia, connecting local experiences with global climate conversations. Through dialogues with community organisations in the Chaco, Chiquitania, and Pantanal regions, representatives from VCA alliance institutions, and a survey of 353 participants, they uncovered a key challenge: climate terminology often feels distant from everyday realities in the Global South.
This disconnect limits meaningful dialogue and the development of local solutions. The Tarot for Climate Action bridges this gap by turning technical language into accessible concepts while highlighting community knowledge and successful practices. It invites individuals and organisations to imagine, plan, and act on climate challenges rooted in their own contexts.
