This resource provides the two most recent editions of 'Mujeres contra el Cambio Climático' (Women Against Climate Change) from our new partners, the Sociedad Boliviana de Derecho Ambiental (SBDA), or Bolivian Society of Environmental Law.

Thanks to the women's initiative, 880 hectares of the Motacusito community will be destined for the conservation and protection of water sources and the development of community ecotourism as the main economic activity of families in the region.

Motacusito: The value of information in the hands of women leaders

In the community of Motacusito, a group of women led an important initiative in December 2022. Thanks to studies conducted by the Puerto Suarez Monitoring Center in their community, they discovered water recharge zones that are vital for the region.
