VCA at the African Climate Summit and Africa Climate Week
VCA will be present at Africa Climate Week (ACW) and Africa Climate Summit (ACS), which is taking place from 4 to 8 September 2023 in Nairobi, Kenya.
A NOTE FROM THE VCA SECRETARIAT
“We wish everyone engaged in the Africa Climate Weeks all the best in the many events and activities that will be taking place, ensuring that the most local voices will be heard during the negotiations and that the declarations representing Africa’s joint positions for COP are inclusive and doing justice to the diversity and richness of the continent. The local climate solutions in the African VCA regions are of high potential, but we need to continue to lobby governments and financial institutions to make sure funds reach the ground.”
VCA will be present at a number of side events during ACS and ACW. If you are attending, we would greatly appreciate your support in attending the events listed below.
