Third partners’ meeting in Paraguay
Revista Emancipa - Paraguay
The third national meeting of local partners of Voices for Just Climate Action (VAC) was held on 27, 28 and 29 September. This space brought together environmental defenders from Paraguay, Brazil and Bolivia, with a clear purpose: to strengthen alliances and renew commitment in the fight for climate justice.
During three intense days, the participating organisations shared achievements, lessons learned and challenges, reaffirming the importance of amplifying the voices of those historically marginalised in the debates on the climate crisis. Under VAC’s strategic objective, this meeting put local communities at the centre as key actors in co-creating just and inclusive climate solutions.
At this event, Brazilian partners Natalia Santos and Waleska Queiroz led conversations on the challenges and opportunities presented by the COP30, which will be held in Brazil in 2025.
This meeting ended with recharged energy and a firm commitment to continue expanding and strengthening the networks of environmental defenders because climate justice cannot wait.
