Global climate advocacy training ahead of COP29
Strengthen your engagement with UNFCCC decisions and ensure a just outcome at COP29
Our online Global Climate Advocacy training ahead of COP29 is designed to empower civil society actors from the Global South to make a meaningful impact on climate policy in the global sphere through the UNFCCC. The training, organised by VCA and Interface Advocacy, has been split into four sessions, with individual coaching available to prepare your own advocacy strategy for COP29:
- 14 and 16 October: Two sessions on UNFCCC basics: Structure, history, and examples of successful interventions from civil society.
Answers to Q&A for these two sessions are in this link: Q&A 14 & 16 October 2024
- 22 and 29 October: Two sessions on Advocacy Tools: Stakeholder mapping, messaging, and lobbying to support you in implementing your own advocacy strategy, whether at COP29 or looking ahead to COP30.
- Personalised coaching: Tailored feedback and support are available.
