Craft your story
Hivos
As part of an innovative learning journey, students and teachers engaged in a participatory sketchnoting process to visually document and narrate success stories from the Voices for Just Climate Action (VCA) programme. Collectif Creatif partner has collaborated with Hivos to implement this activity.
This approach, implemented as an interactive educational experience, allowed participants to step into the role of external observers, interviewing VCA project coordinators and translating their insights into compelling visual stories. Through this process, they enhanced their artistic and storytelling skills and deepened their understanding of climate justice and community-driven solutions. The four developed sketchnotes capture key initiatives that have fostered resilience, awareness, and action in Tunisia’s climate movement.
Resilient Cities – Implemented by Tunisian Youth Impact

This sketchnote illustrates how young leaders are reimagining urban spaces to be more resilient to climate change. Through community-driven solutions, advocacy efforts, and participatory urban planning, Tunisian Youth Impact empowers local actors to address environmental challenges in cities. The visual storytelling highlights key interventions such as green spaces, sustainable infrastructure, and climate-responsive policies, showcasing the role of youth in shaping resilient urban futures.
Climate Action Tunisia – Implemented by Stop Pollution Movement

This sketchnote captures the grassroots mobilisation led by Stop Pollution, emphasising environmental advocacy and community engagement in fighting pollution and promoting sustainable practices. The drawings bring to life moments of activism, public awareness campaigns, and policy discussions that have strengthened the climate movement in Tunisia. The visual narrative underscores the power of local actors in driving systemic change through collective action.
Boubli El Climat – Implemented by Boubli (ATDCE)

Focused on climate awareness and education, this sketchnote showcases how Boubli El Climat has engaged local communities in understanding the urgency of climate action. Through workshops, storytelling, and interactive campaigns, the project has built a bridge between scientific knowledge and everyday realities, making climate change more tangible and actionable. The sketchnote visually reflects the participatory methods used to foster climate-conscious behaviours at the grassroots level.
Shouf Green – Implemented by ATPNE

This sketchnote tells how Shouf Green utilised artivism to empower teenagers in Korba to create climate justice content. By blending artistic expression with environmental activism, the project trained young participants in filmmaking, podcasting, and graffiti, equipping them with tools to advocate for their local ecosystems. The drawings highlight the journey from skill-building workshops to impactful storytelling, demonstrating how creative expression can drive meaningful environmental awareness.
