Climate Finance Dialogues Session 1

The VCA convened the first session of a two-part dialogue series to collectively explore the challenges and opportunities climate finance presents and the potential advocacy avenues at various scales.

The dialogue events aim to strengthen civil society actors, including VCA local partners, local and global movements and alliance members, understanding of climate finance topics, to advocate for climate finance access at the local level. This enhanced capacity will support civil society to contribute to both international and national events such as COP28 and engage in lobby and advocacy strategies around their climate finance objectives.

In this first session, key contributors with experience in climate finance shared their knowledge, and those new to climate finance were invited to learn and contribute to this quickly evolving field of practice.
