360° core: Green resilience sounds
Between the worlds of artistic creativity, journalistic precision and commitment to struggle for nature and man, Nawaat accompanies you on a unique and innovative journey, to the spirit of the forest and the glory of its mountains, to the sea of islands and its bounties and the laws of life of its women and men and the oasis besieged by chemical emissions. Through stories that begin in the mountains of Ain Draham in Jendouba, to the oasis of Gabes and its bay, voices are raised to sound the alarm in the face of environmental risks to nature in Tunisia. Voices of Green Resilience is an urgent call for ecological resistance through an artistic composition. Using mixed reality technologies, they explore the narrative possibilities of digital journalism innovations in three creative videos.
Spirit of the Forest (Ain Draham – Jendouba)
From the heart of the Ain Draham Forests Al-Shamkha in the province of Jendouba, Mohamed Azizi, son of the proud northwest mountains, leads us on a journey to the spirit of the forest where there is no voice above the deep symphonies of nature. Through 360-degree imaging technology, explore the secrets of the mountain and its trees and how to harmonise and interact positively between nature, man and animals, in appreciation of the wealth of our threatened forest.
Ram in Kerkennah (Kerkennah Island)
Despite rising sea levels and the beginning of the extinction of a number of organisms, the police siege imposed on the island for fear of “Harraga” and the delicate and dangerous situation, the women and men of Kerkennah island offer us a lesson in hope, attachment to land and sea, and the adoption of inherited techniques to revive nature and preserve the sea and its bounties.
Green Resistance (plug and oases)
From the womb of suffering is born hope. In the face of the horrors of chemical pollution in Gabes, resistance breeds citizenship in a variety of forms. Through 360-degree imaging technology, creative artist Mohammed Amin, takes us to Shenni Oasis. He works to valorize what pollution has spoiled, in search of a difficult equation that balances the earth’s revival and confronting the specter of death leaking from the remnants of the chemical complex.
