Climate Finance Dialogues Session 2

Climate finance is a key lever for enabling climate action at the local level. The VCA convened a two-part dialogue series to collectively explore the challenges and opportunities climate finance presents and the potential avenues of advocacy at various scales.

After introducing climate finance and the different climate finance mechanisms in our first session, we began to unpack the challenges and opportunities experienced by key contributors with experience in climate finance.

This second dialogue event aimed to create a safe space for open and honest reflection about what has worked and what hasn’t worked so that we can better understand together how to operate within and advocate for improvements to, climate finance mechanisms.
